Adoptions 5/3/10 - 5/9/10

We are happy to announce that we found homes for 12 of our friends last week! We wish Puddles, Toby, Felipe, Isis, Buddy, Reese, Plantain, Apollo, Duke, Moon, Toby, Coco and their new owners many happy years together!

Coco, this week's Pick of the Litter has been adopted! We wish her well in her new home.

8th Annual Horse Ride a Huge Success!

On Sunday, May 2nd, we held our 8th Annual Horse Ride Fundraiser. This year was our most succesful yet with over 120 riders in attendance and over $8,000 raised to help the animals! We would like to thank everyone who helped make this event such a success by attending, donating, and volunteering their time. We would especially like to thank the Russ and Ellen Flock for their donation of the delicious Kentucky Fried Chicken lunches, Rhode Island Horse Weighing for the donation to the RISPCA from the proceeds of their weighing service, and Denise Anthony and her family for all their hard work organizing and running this event.

Horse Ride Fundraiser and PetSmart Adoption Weekend

The RISPCA Horse Ride Fundraiser will be held THIS Sunday, May 2 at Goddard Park.  Sign in begins at 10:00 and the ride begins at 11:00. We hope to see you there!

Come visit the Rhode Island SPCA and some of our adoptable animal friends at our PetSmart adoption partner in Johnston, RI!  We will be there on Friday from 6-9pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 10am -3pm.
