Handsome Guy Pony is a 4 yr old Pit mix. Pony is enrolled in training to become Canine Good Citizen Certified (CGC). Pony is a sweet boy doing well with basic commands and socializing with dogs. Pony plays well with female dogs, he is a gentle dog and loves everyone! Pony is working hard on his commands and is a staff favorite at the RISPCA. He's been with us since August when his owner moved.
A dog who has his or her CGC is a huge plus for adopters, renters, and can help with your insurance. This certification lets people know your dog has good manners and has worked hard to attain their certification.
Our dog trainer Heidi D'Ascoli is a certified Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, and is in the process of putting together a program for our area. If you have an interest in attending a CGC Certification class, contact Liz. Follow this link on the AKC website to "Evaluators" in Massachusetts.
