The RISPCA has been informed that a $250 grant from the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island Community Health Fund will be given in recognition of their volunteers.

Blue Angel Volunteer Donation
Once again, we have received a $250.00 donation from a volunteer from the ranks of Blue Cross Blue Shield. Amanda Gibson, BCBSRI employee and Blue Angel volunteer, selected the RISPCA as the recipient of the Dollars for Doers Award.
As part of the BlueAngel Community Outreach program, their employees are encouraged to reach out and embrace the Rhode Island community through a variety of service activities. Last year, nearly 47% of their 1100 employees provided volunteer service to the RI community.
