What a sweetheart Alice is. She is doing very well on her diet. Thank you to Hill's Pet and Dr. Amy Karls for providing all of Alice's food and preparing a diet plan that will get her to a healthy weight. We already see progress.
Since Alice will be with us for at least 6 months, she has been moved out of our Cat Room and is living in the office area of the RISPCA. She gets to interact with the staff throughout the day and also with the other pets that come to work with their people. It is a comfortable environment for her and she seems to LOVE it. Plus she gets to hang with her best buddy, Jackie, most of the day.
Thank you to Dogs in Harmony (1417 Atwood, Johnston, RI) who gave Alice some great gifts from their store. When our friend Connie told them that Alice could not clean herself yet, they provided a waterless grooming foam made especially for cats.They also sent some cool catnip toys for her.
