Daisy, Maggie, and Peyton have all found homes, and we are so thankful.
Sunday was the kickoff to "Paw"Traits 2008, and all of these ladies were featured in the art exhibit's photography.
Peyton's beautiful photograph was sold to a gentleman yesterday who actually came back and adopted her today. See the photo gallery of the opening reception here.
Daisy was featured on "Pick of the Litter" March 4th and has been a beloved "ambassador" to new arrivals in our cat room. She was welcoming to all of the other cats and we miss her already.
But we have already heard that she has settled into her new home and jumped right up on the bed!
Maggie was also featured on April 8th and after recovering from a broken pelvis she certainly deserves a loving home.

As a staff member I think I can speak for all when I say that these animals come into our shelter and are immediately part of our "shelter family". We treat each and every animal with the love and devotion that we would give to our own pets and it really makes our day when homes are found for these animals! Kudos to all who have adopted one of our "family members" into their homes!!!
What a wonderful week of adoptions!! Not only did our oldest cat find a home, but cats that have been living at the shelter for months found homes too. All in one week - AMAZING!!
It started with Luna, who spent 155 days in the shelter. Next was Maggie, who spent 139 days in the shelter. Then Daisy, who was with us for 122 days. Peyton finished up this amazing week spending 85 days in the shelter. Peyton is somewhere between 12 - 15 years old!
Thank you so much to all the people that took a chance on these wonderful cats that nobody else seemed to want. I will not forget them!!
